So it’s 5 min to 4 and I managed to find a street parking spot just a couple blocks from the arena :). — waiting here til 4 pm so I can pay the max 4 hours parking til 8 pm, after which street parking is free.
It’s also a very beautiful sunny day — which isn’t all that common lately in Seattle (and Vancouver…)
So I’m feeling extra optimistic, happy and blessed 🙂
It’s also finally struck me that I actually get to go to see Oprah tonight!
Neat to be able to tell people I’ve run into in shops that I am in town in part to attend the Oprah conference CUZ it’s been on the radio and news.
Cuz I’m one of those girls that grew up not even thinking about going to conferences and shows (except/unless with school or Church) because it wasn’t ever something we budgeted for — was considered an extra luxury of life that I thought people like me just couldn’t consider.
But it’s hit me just what it means now to have options (albeit everyone’s has some limit unless say you are Someone like Oprah) and we just have to pick and choose, sometimes wisely, and sometimes a bit of “frivolous” and “extra” is actually also wise in and of itself….
Anyhow I’m excited to be going tonight and just wanted to quickly share that I made it, before I “go”!
